Men at some time are masters of their fates Why, man, he doth bestride the narrow world ![]() In this sentence, Cassius addresses Brutus, to persuade him to take part in the overthrow of the tyrant, Julius Caesar, because he is reluctant due to his friendship with Caesar. These words appear in Shakespeare’s play, Julius Caesar, Act I, Scene II, Lines 135-141.
